On 21.05.2025, a meeting was held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology between Professor Peter Gorder of the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and representatives of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The meeting was attended by:<\/p>\n

\u2013 Piotr Tarasiuk, PhD, Eng \u2013 advisor to the student team Cerber Motorsport,<\/p>\n
\u2013 Izabela Zg\u0142obicka, PhD \u2013 Plenipotentiary for Internationalization of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n
The main goal of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities of cooperation, the implementation of Polish-American student group projects, and other collaborative opportunities between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Bialystok University of Technology, SMP Poland sp. z o.o., and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. During the visit, the potential of the faculty, the company SMP Poland sp. z o.o., and the achievements of the Cerber Motorsport student team were presented. Selected laboratories of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering were showcased, including the Scanning Electron Microscopy Laboratory, the Strength Testing Laboratory, and the DemoLab. Additionally, the discussion covered example problems for project work by student groups from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
