Title: Practical examples of information systems management in e-health environment

Dr. Justas Trinkūnas is Head of Information Systems Department at Vilnius University Hospital Santariskiu Klinikos. He is responsible for the development, maintenance, and continuous improvements of the Hospital Information System. He has experience as a lecturer and researcher at Vilnius Gediminas University and in universities in Europe, Africa, and Asia. He has huge experience in the ICT field and has PRINCE2 project management, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications. 

Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos is one of the major hospitals in Lithuania encompassing the provision of medical care in almost all key areas covering practical and scientific medicine, education of students, residents, and physicians (www.santa.lt). The institution has developed a hospital information system (HIS), which integrates electronic health records, laboratory, images and signals archives, staff and resource management, document management, and many other systems that are necessary for effective health care services. Practical examples and methods of development and maintenance of HIS in an agile environment will be presented in the lecture.
