Students with the CMS-08 racing car compete in Formula SAE Italy
16-07-2022Students of the Cerber Motorsport section of the Bialystok University of Technology’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering have recently presented their CMS-08 racing car, and they are already participating in the Formula Student competition in Italy.
The team, during the first day of the Formula SAE Italy, passed the Technical Inspection very smoothly and all drivers passed the fitness tests, i.e. Driver egreese, perfectly.
The next day brought success. They got to the final of the Engineering Design Event. Being in the finals is equivalent to being on the podium in this category of the competition. In the static competition, they presented original ideas, execution methods and unusual solutions applied to the CMS-08 car.
Today, the dynamic competitions begin. The final results will be known on Sunday.
Students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Faculty of Electrical Engineering worked together on the CMS-08 car.
