Summary of the Formula Student season
31-08-2022The students with their latest racing car CMS-08 from the Cerber Motorsport team from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology have finished competing at the Formula Student.
The last competition brought a great historic result in the final ranking – 4th place at the Formula Student Germany! The top teams from all over the world competed in this most prestigious competition.
This was the fifth and final race series of the season. Participation in the Formula Student Germany not only brought the students a high position in the final ranking, but they finished fifth in this season’s Endurance event, which is the highest-scoring of the static events.
Summary of participation in the Formula Student Germany competition:
Dynamic events:
- Acceleration – 5th place
- Skidpad – 7th place
- Autocross – 7th place
- Endurance – 4th place
- Efficiency – 6th place
Static events:
- Engineering Design Event – 7th place
- Cost & Manufacturing Event – 15th place
- Business Plan Presentation – 25th place
In the 2022 season, the student team competed in 5 series of competitions:
- Formula SAE Italy (final standings: 5th place)
- Formula Student Czech Republic (final standings: 7th place)
- Formula Student EAST (final standings: 6th place)
- Formula Student Germany (final standings: 4th place)

Congratulations to the team on finishing the racing season with so many successes! Students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science of Bialystok University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology worked together on the CMS-08 car.
