Student success at Formula SAE Italy

Students from the Cerber Motorsport section of the Bialystok University of Technology’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering finished with great places at the Formula SAE Italy. The students achieved a very high 2nd place in the Design Event category, and finished 5th overall.

The other places are as follows:

Dynamic Events:

• Acceleration Event: 4th place
• Autocross Event: 4th place
• Skidpad Event: 6th place
• Endurance & Efficiency Event: 5th place

• Cost & Manufacturing Event: 5th place
• Business Presentation Event: 22nd place.

This is the first competition of the year, and already the CMS-08 car has shown that it can fight for top places with top teams from around the world.

The team is already in the Czech Republic, where it has started another Formula Student Czech Republic competition.

Students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Faculty of Electrical Engineering worked together on the CMS-08 car.
