Course description

The main objectives of this undergraduate program are related with the preparation of a graduate for independent, creative engineering work, research work in solving interdisciplinary technical and organizational problems with the use of computer methods and techniques, and for managing human resources. These studies are to provide the education of specialists with the skills to use interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of simulation, design, production, programming and operation of machines and systems. A graduate is prepared to solve simple problems in industrial applications in the field of mechanics and machine construction, computer science, electronics as well as automation and robotics. A graduate can design complex applications based on programmable logic controllers and microprocessor systems.

Specializations that will be implemented in the first degree of studies:
  1. Design and Control of Micromachines,
  2. Intelligent Structures

will allow for the education of the future master engineer who can meet the specific requirements of employers.

After graduation, graduates are prepared to work in:

  • research and development departments of production and service companies,
  • design and construction departments of companies, as specialists in the design, commissioning and operation of mechatronic systems,
  • design and construction offices dealing with the design of devices and mechatronic systems,
  • companies dealing with the implementation of control and software for mechatronic systems,
  • scientific and research institutions and research and development centers,
  • accreditation and attestation units in the field of mechatronics,
  • units dealing with consultancy and dissemination of knowledge in the field of mechatronics.
