Researchers and students have created a wheelchair for a disabled dog

Students from the Research Circle Orthos, together with engineering staff from the BUT Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, have changed the life of Budyń, a dog who had to have his hind limb amputated.

A wheelchair was made to assist the dog’s mobility and relieve pressure on his spine.

A word of thanks goes also to some other companies. Design Pro Technology made its workshop available and provided valuable advice, which enabled the students to learn a lot. In addition, KomfOrto made a contribution by sewing the braces and Rowerzysta.pl donated the parts needed to make the wheelchair.

The project will be continued in order to give Budyń the best possible mobility.
